Jene Luciani

Hailed as a "Brilliant Bra Guru" by BRAVO-TV, a “stylist extraordinaire” and “bra fit guru” by the New York Daily News, Jené Luciani is a nationally acclaimed fashion journalist, style expert, TV personality, spokesperson and bestselling author.  She appears regularly on NBC’s TODAY Show and has appeared on NBC'S New York Live, The Style Network, Better TV, CNN Money, ABC News, Fox News Channel and Good Day NY, to name a few.  Luciani recently became a "Bravo-lebrity" when she guest starred on an episode of the hit show Mad Fashion, wearing a Chris March-created dress made out of 200 bras.  Aside from the national and local news outlets Jene is regularly on, her TV credits also include the Style Network's Look for Less and How Do I Look?, Oxygen's Jersey Couture and Discovery Channel's Go Ahead, Make My Dinner.

When she's not giving styling advice on TV, Jené is sharing it with readers around the world.  She has been quoted and featured in nearly every major magazine and newspaper, including STAR, Glamour, US Weekly, OK!, Weight Watchers Magazine, Seventeen, SHAPE, FIRST, Cosmo, Bride's Magazine, InTouch Weekly, Woman's World, Woman's Day, The NY Post, the NY Daily News and the Chicago Tribune.   You can also find her hosting iVillage.com’s "Learn How Now" fashion and beauty webisodes, fielding questions in GALTime.com’s "Ask the Bra Gal" column, commenting for Life & Style Weekly Magazine’s "Oops What Were They Thinking?" feature, and writing on everything from celebrities to relationships for SHAPE.COM.  Her articles have appeared on the front pages of Yahoo Shine, the Huffington Post and AOL.COM.

In 2009, after 3 years of research on the topic of bras and based in part on her own personal experiences, Jené authored The Bra Book: The Fashion Formula to Finding the Perfect Bra (BenBella Books), which Oprah touts as “so important for women.” Kathie Lee Gifford, Jane Krakowski, Sherri Shepherd, Kat Deluna, Jill Zarin, Cindy Barshop and Maggie Rizer are also fans of the bookFind The Bra Book in all fine bookstores and major retailers such as Dillard's and Lord & Taylor in the Intimate Apparel Department.

Jené launched her career in 1999 as a TV news producer and broadcast journalist, covering everything from the Iraq war and the presidential elections to fashion weeks in New York, Paris and Milan.  After 7 years in news, she permanently forayed into fashion and never looked back (well, except for when platforms came back into style). She took a position as style director and fashion editor for a regional luxury lifestyle magazine, where she wrote a monthly fashion column, generated fashion content and produced celebrity-driven editorial shoots. She is now a sought after stylist, spokesperson and brand consultant, frequently called upon by major retailers such as Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus and Calvin Klein.

The multi-talented author spent her early years playing dress up in her family's clothing boutique in upstate New York, modeling for local newspaper ads and helping her mother with buying. You could say fashion is in her “jeans." She's also an accomplished singer who began performing at the age of 9 years old.

Luciani currently lives in New York with her husband and their daughter and is hard at work juggling mommy duties and writing her second fashion how-to tome.
